Super Duperman

#2 pencil on acid-free archival paper, Super Duperman was an attempt at sarcasm in 1995. I think it’s pretty good. Well, until I discovered the name had already been used in the 60’s by Mad Magazine for a spoof on Superman. I guess great minds think a like?
Who knows, I’m not old enough to have known that it was used before, and I only found out maybe 5 years ago, good thing I never tried to do anything real with this guy.
Still I like looking at him, he’s very well done in the style I was going for. The drawing looks nothing like Mad’s Super Duperman, only the name is the same.

Very nice. Would be very impressive colored with nice shading to make him jump off the page.
