Sorry to hear about FedEX messing with your good vibes with being debt free, congratulations by the way!
Never had a problem with Amazon.com That’s why they have to much money

Hi Kaia, Thanks but I’m fine now, the video really helped me vent my frustration. Also thank you for the congrats, it’s feeling very nice.
And yes, Amazon is a good example of how to run a customer based business.

Ack my comment got eaten…
I’m sorry that FedEx bent you over so nicely. :-/ I’d file a claim against FedEx. That’s a giant load of crap!
You should be blasting thugs in the face with a wide variety of weaponry with your homeys. Soon, soon you will be able to do that.
Just pretend all the rivals thugs are wearing FedEx uniforms. ;-) That’s what I do.

Maybe you could invent a new game with the empty box? I know Dillon (puppy) likes boxes to play with.
Amazon are great though I had a delivery that was put behind our recycling bin and left out in not only the rain but in plain view of the entire village as we live in the center. It was not an empty box but it was soggy - thank goodness they wrap the heck out of them so I managed to not have ruined items.

Not true about FedEx. You got a misinformed/poor CSR. You were right in calling Amazon, however. They will file a claim with FedEx for the loss.
Amazon could/should have required a signature and FedEx would not leave it on your doorstep.
The problem is that someone stole the stuff from you. FedEx is hardly responsible for that if signature service was not required. People steal. The rant should be more about people who steal from your doorstep.
BTW, you can’t file a claim with FedEx. You never received it. Only the shipper can file the claim.
From someone who ships thousands of orders with FedEx each year, FedEx is hard to beat.

Jeff,
which one of the four over sixty arthritic farmers that live anywhere near me stole an xbox 360 game off my doorstep but were stupid enough to leave the empty box behind?
I live in a rural farming community, ALL of my immediate neighbors are old folks, whom I know would not steal from me.
We should also take into consideration that my house, let alone my doorstep cannot be seen from the only road that runs through my neighborhood. So someone driving / walking / running / biking / horse-riding by would not be able to see my porch or if anything was on it to steal, without making a 200 foot trip down my driveway which is overseen by a very nosy neighbor whom said they only saw the FedEx guy come over and no one else.
The rant was about their customer service. Not about their ability to ship or deliver packages.
And misinformed CSR or not, it doesn’t change the fact that they said what they said and that they were representing the company.
