It’s an Emergency

Franz, had a single duty to his town. Whenever an emergency occurred he was charged with standing upon the great hill overlooking all of his magnificent town and point proudly at the scene of said emergency. It wasn’t until many years later that everyone involved realized the short coming of this duty.
Emergency for Illustration Friday, sorry for the late-ish post it took me a while to think of an idea for this one.
Please enjoy.

Instant classic! But I really REALLY want to know what his face looks like behind the mask… Please?

He has no face, no one in own does, the masks are necessary to hide the oddness that is a blank facial area.
Thanks

I love it and I love the idea of a blank facial area. I guess if ever there’s a trial in town, the blank face can represent justice being blind.

Maybe he should spend less time working on his mask and more time solving real problems.

TheFemGeek, you would assume that, unfortunately their society has come to rely on the masks as much as we rely on our faces. The masks never come off, and one is judged and sometimes ridiculed for their mask choices.
Justin, he realizes this now, unfortunately it took him many years to get to this conclusion.

Rich, he’s discovered several new hobbies to fill his time. It took him about a month to get over the loss of his one responsibility, but since then he’s been doing fine.
