A Death Threat?
imagined by: James Mathias
I just checked my voices messages and got a peculiar one from before 5am this morning.
The message is as follows and recited in an Arnold Schwarzenegger accent/impression.
“Hi, this is Arnold Schwarzenegger and I have a bunch of questions for you and I want answers to immediately. Who is your daddy and what does he do? I hope you saved enough room for my fist because I’m going to jab it in your stomach and crush your spine!! Game over.”
Now I’m not sure how to take this, it seems like a threat, but at the same time why do it as Arnold? What’s with the impression?
I’m taking this very seriously, and I’m going to contact the local police and try to get to the bottom of this.
I will also try and get a recording of the voice mail to post for all to here.
Update
Alright, I feel like a total ass, I just found the exact message online. Apparently this was just a prank.
Message to pranksters.
At 5am I have no sense of humor, and out of context, prank calls to my home by someone I don’t know I have even less tolerance for.

Bizarre and disturbing. Hope your able to uncover the origins of it.
If it’s a joke it’s a really crappy one.

Ahh… Arnold. There was a joke thing years ago where people would call other places (usually radio stations did this to Chinese restaurants) to see what the response was. On the air, it was sometimes a bit funny. But here, in this context, it’s rather not funny at all. Perhaps somebody thought they had a sense of humor. Perhaps it was a prank from kids. A quick google search came up with this old sound board
Something tells me that this isn’t a death threat, as much as it is a really bad idea of a joke. I hope it gets resolved, James.

Geez… what a prank!
I’d have a heartattack if I got a voicemail like that!

Yea, I did this with a friend of mine using Dr Phill sound boards at ebaums world. We called his grandma and had full conversations with her… quite hilarious

I don’t think it’s hilarious at all, it’s actually quite rude.

Well that is ridiculous! At 5AM! Did you look up the phone #? Give that to the police. There should be a copy of it on your bill when it comes.
It’s one thing to call someone and use a funny accent, but quite another to call with a death threat at 5AM. I am glad it was just supposed to be funny, but you do not know this person. So it really isn’t funny at all.
