For this week’s NetFlix One Line Reviews I watched Bee Movie, Hitman, Dan In Real Life and August rush.

Bee Movie; No one has ever been able to touch Pixar when it comes to 3D animated films, so I try not to compare in that fashion—it’s difficult. Bee Movie, doesn’t raise the bar—in fact it barely reaches the bar. But, it’s a good family film, funny and has a decent message for folks about bees. It’s a rental, maybe a purchase for kids that aren’t as critical of a film as I am.

Hitman; This was a disappointing jaunt into something that could have been quite good. I found the lead actor unbelievable in the role and the story was disjointed. Not even good for mindless action. Rent Shoot em Up instead.

Dan In Real Life;Touching film about family, heartache and knowing but not really knowing what to do. Amy and I really enjoyed this film. Mr. Carell is becoming quite the powerhouse.

August Rush;Words escape me. this film is so absolutely beautiful. I loved every second of this film. Keri Russell is on a role. Rent this now.

You know the score, keep it clean and on topic. “Spammers” & “trolls” are decimated on sight.

Joe and I rented Bee Movie but haven’t gotten around to it just yet. I was close to renting Dan in Real Life but he wasn’t too interested in it.

Oh cool, you got to see Dan in Real Life. We saw trailers in the summer and I put it on my calendar to see on opening night.

Craig and I really enjoyed it, thought it was well done. Only thing we missed was some of the scenes that were in the trailers.

I thought it was pretty realistic, and I love movies filmed locally to us.

Of these, I only saw Hitman. I wish I hadn’t. It didn’t even make sense. And I scoffed aloud when the lead character ran through the room with the two kids playing… wait for it… HITMAN. How does that make sense!? HOW!?
