Hi. I’m in the process of updating the design and content of this web-site. In classic fashion version 50.14 will see a content reboot. What that means is I’ll be archiving everything here to a sub domain, where the full as is site will be accessible for a long time to come and the main domain will receive a new (sort of) look and all new content. The reason is two fold. I like starting over and I’m switching to Expression Engine and with no upgrade path from homegrown CMS’s my hand is forced in a way.

What will the new site have? Writing, Drawings, Videos and of course a blog, but the blog will get less focus in favor of the art, writing and video pieces which are way more fun to create and hopefully enjoy.

When is this happening? Before xmas ( I think? ) smile

This is why things have been so quiet ’round here. Sorry but thanks for continuing to check back for new stuff I appreciate it greatly.

The fam and I are doing really well in Tennessee, and we love it here. We found our dream home, but can’t get it just yet still have to clean up our credit and get things back on track there first. We are heading in the right direction though.

Work is awesome, I’m working on some really fun projects. Freelance is picking up again as well which is great news.

All in all moving to TN was an overall great idea and it’s working out really well for us. In fact our plan is to stay here for a long while to come.

You know the score, keep it clean and on topic. “Spammers” & “trolls” are decimated on sight.

Looking forward to seeing what you do with the site as always James.

It’s really great to hear you and the fam are doing well in TN. It takes a hell of a lot of courage to do what you did! Kudos.

Greg, I have been a bad friend. I have no excuse.

Wilhelm, yeah have not decided if I want to do that again.

Sean, I’ve been using it exclusively at work for the last 7 months, it’s a dream once you know how to really use it and don’t approach it as something that needs to be skinned but more like a framework that plugs into your design.

James, I agree; after having used Wordpress for several years I needed something that would make my job of maintaining sites easier and EE has filled that void. I am stoked about EE 2.0 and look forward to working with it.

*wink to Wilhelm

Grats on new site coming up, James. That’s great. I’ve used EE a lot for years and love it. It’s great. Glad to hear TN is working out too. Take care,
Rog.
